If you spend any time digging in your garden, chances are you’ve come across one of these before. While it is extremely difficult to determine the exact species, this is a moth pupa. You will often see the end of the pupa wriggling a bit. In anywhere from a day to a week or two, the adult moth will make its entrance into the world.
Size: Approximately an inch and a half to two inches
