Art-ropoda – From Sketching to Painting with Jason Poole

Artist and Naturalist, Jason Poole, will lead students to discover the fascinating world of insects and arthropods through a dynamic 6-part art class series designed for all skill levels. Students will begin with foundational sketching techniques, learning to observe and capture the unique forms and textures of these tiny creatures. As the series progresses, they’ll explore color and detail and, culminating in bold, expressive watercolor paintings. Each class builds on the last, blending science and creativity to inspire a deeper appreciation for nature’s smallest wonders.
