Online Bug Encounters: Spiders with Bad Reputations

Hobo Spiders (Eratigena agrestis), Wolf Spiders (Lycosidae), and Black Widows (Latrodectus spp.) typically have a bad reputation, but is it deserved? Bug Wrangler Brenna will be clearing up misinformation and sparking curiosity, so we can ask new questions. And… no discussion would be complete without the Brown Recluse (Loxosceles reclusa), a spider native to the south central and Midwestern United States.
