Long-Horned Beetle: With extremely long antennae, this aptly named long-horn beetle is likely a White-Spotted Sawyer (Monochamus scutellatus). The photo was captured just before the beetle took flight …showing us the elytra (wing covers) “lifted” to allow the wings to unfold for flight. It was found by one of our amazing board members.
