Bristly Cutworm (Lacinipolia renigera) — Like many moths, the true beauty of the Bristly Cutworm comes from closer observation. The white-rimmed green spots help quickly identify this species. In addition, it usually has two other bright green spots on the forewing (pictured here). They can be found throughout all of North America except the Yukon and Alaska.
