We can tell right away that this is a male, because (strangely enough) the females don’t have wings! Plus, check out those beautiful, feathery antennae, used to “sniff” out a female moth’s pheromones. These early season moths can be found from January to April (March and April here in MT) and range from WY and UT, west to British Columbia and CA.
