Stink Bug (probably in the subgenus Chlorochroa) — Most stink bugs in this genus are broadly oval, green to brownish or almost black, with a pale whitish or yellow margin on the elytra (wing covers). This genus is Holarctic …meaning they can be found in the majority of habitats throughout the northern continents of the world. They are the most diverse in North America, especially in the western U.S. The nymphs and adults feed on a variety of herbaceous plants, crops, and fruit trees (sometimes making them crop pests).
