Stilt bugs are in the order Hemiptera (true bugs). As you can see, stilt bugs are insects with legs and bodies that are so thin they are aptly called “stilt bugs” or “thread bugs.” The habits of most species are not well known. Most are believed to be host-specific sap-suckers, but some also feed on mites and small insects.
